Ceny w Tajlandii / Prices in Thailand

English version below polish.

Tajlandia atakuje! Zewsząd. Ostatnio w telewizji: wymyśl nazwę pizzy, a w nagrodę - pojedź do Tajlandii! Trzeba to sprawdzić! O, tani lot!

W porównaniu do Kambodży, Laosu i Wietnamu - średnio, do Polski?

Pudło pełne skarbów, zamiast figurek Buddy i tony muszelek ;)   /  Box full of treasures, instead of small buddas and tons of mussels ;)

ENG version :)

Thailand attacks! Everywhere. Recently on TV: find the name of the pizza and as a reward - go to Thailand! Everyday on fly4free website pops proposals for cheap flights to Asia. Thai-Boom in progress and probably a lot of you a) are waiting for flight and things which are waiting there b) think ,,Thailand? We have to check it out! Oh, cheap flight! Let's book it! c) and perhaps someone has enough :D (?)

How does it look when it comes to money? I was looking for some informations before I left and yes I found  some - but on millions of pages. I decided to make it easier for a bit and collect all together. Here are the prices in Thailand in September and December 2014.

To make it easier :    100BHT - 3,06USD and 100bht - 2,70EUR

TRANSPORT

Airport Phuket -> Patong 180bht (tickets are available at the airport, it's hard to miss the stand). If you're going from Patong to the airport - it is not worth to combine ;) go to travel agency and book your journey in advance. I wanted to get there in my own - firstly, took the local bus to Phuket town, another local bus (which suppose to take me to another shuttle bus to the airport - and what never happened :D and driver kicked me out at a homestead where the old man put me in a trailer attached to his bike. In total it cost 300bht but feeling of being late for a plane and first time in that kind of  means of transport - priceless! It's easier, faster and cheaper by the intermediary (I've heard many stories, many people have tried). Strange but... this is Thailand :)

Thailand is cheap? Compared to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam not really to Poland? Depends on what you are comparing :) Anyway you don't need millions to have a good time there or billions to be able to live there or just stay for a long time - what
quite a lot of people is doing out there!
